Frequently asked questions
Why do medicine reminder apps stop working on Indian phones?
Most Android phones sold in India ship with aggressive battery savers that silently kill background apps, so ordinary reminders simply stop firing. HealthMate AI uses exact alarms that Android treats like a bedside alarm clock, re-arms them after every restart, and includes a checklist that fixes the phone settings known to block reminders.
Can I manage medicines for my parents?
Yes. Add family members to your account and log medicines for each of them, or share a code so a parent using their own phone can link their profile to yours. You will see their adherence and upcoming doses from your dashboard.
Does the AI give medical advice?
No. The assistant answers general questions about medicines and summarizes the numbers you logged, but it never diagnoses conditions, prescribes treatment or changes doses. For anything urgent it directs you to emergency services first.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Reminders, dose logging and vitals all work with no internet connection. The network is only used to sync your data and generate AI summaries.
When is it launching and what will it cost?
HealthMate AI is in final testing and launching soon on Google Play for Android. The core reminder features will be free, with an optional premium plan for AI reports and family sharing.
