Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 28 July 2026
This policy sets out what you agree not to do when using PixelDock Apps, whether you're using a free tool or a paid plan. It's written specifically rather than in vague general terms, so you know exactly what's off-limits and why. Violating it may result in suspension or termination of your access — see Section 9.
1. Content and honesty
- Don't submit anyone else's personal, confidential, or copyrighted information into our tools without their permission.
- Don't use our tools to create content that's defamatory, fraudulent, discriminatory, or intended to deceive an employer — including fabricating credentials, qualifications, or work history that isn't yours.
- Don't use our tools to generate content that's illegal, hateful, or infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
2. Multiple accounts
Our plans — including the Free plan and the free trial — are intended for one account per person. Creating more than one account to get additional free usage, additional trials, or to work around a plan's limits is not allowed. We may identify likely duplicate accounts using signals such as the same payment method used across accounts, the same device or browser used across accounts, or the same email address pattern, or accounts created in unusually rapid succession from the same source. Where we identify accounts this way, we may deny trial eligibility, merge or limit the accounts, or suspend them.
3. Account sharing
Your account and subscription are for your own individual use. Sharing your login credentials, or your Career Pro "unlimited" access, with other people — including coworkers, friends, or a team — so they can use the Service without their own account is not permitted. If you're a recruitment agency or business wanting access for multiple people, see our B2B/agency terms (Terms & Conditions, Section 9) instead of sharing an individual subscription.
4. Automated use, scraping, and abusive API usage
- Don't use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access our tools, our API endpoints, or our website beyond the normal, individual use a real person would make through their browser.
- Don't scrape, systematically extract, or bulk-download data, templates, or content from our website or product.
- Don't send an abnormally high volume of requests to our tools or API in a way that's inconsistent with genuine personal use.
5. Reverse engineering and AI prompt extraction
- Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our website or application.
- Don't attempt to discover, extract, or reconstruct the underlying prompts, instructions, or system configuration we use to power our AI features — including by crafting inputs specifically designed to make an AI feature reveal its own instructions. This includes not sharing or publishing any such prompts/instructions if you do obtain them.
6. Reselling and commercial misuse
- Our plans are for your own personal job search — not for resale, white-labeling, or operating a competing service using our tools or output.
- Don't resell, sublicense, or provide paid access to your account or subscription to anyone else.
- Don't use our free tools or AI features as a backend for another product or service.
7. Payment integrity
- Don't use a stolen, unauthorized, or fraudulent payment method to pay for any plan or order.
- Don't file a chargeback for a charge you authorized and that we can show was properly delivered — see the Chargeback Handling section of our Refund Policy.
8. Security
Don't interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website, attempt to bypass our security or authentication measures, or attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
9. Suspension and termination
- Suspension is a temporary hold on your access while we look into a suspected violation of this policy, a payment issue, or an open chargeback dispute. Where we can do so without undermining the investigation, we'll try to tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
- Termination is a permanent end to your access, used for confirmed violations, repeated abuse, chargeback fraud, or non-payment. If we terminate your account for cause, we do not refund the remaining unused portion of any prepaid period — see our Refund Policy.
- If you think we got it wrong, email us and we'll review.
10. Reporting a violation
If you believe someone is misusing PixelDock Apps, email contact@pixeldockapps.com.
