Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 5 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PixelDock Apps website and services, operated by Harsh Makhija (Sole Proprietor), based in Delhi, India ("we", "us", "PixelDock Apps"). By using this website, submitting your details, purchasing a one-time order, or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- "Services" means the PixelDock Apps website, free tools, one-time paid orders, and subscription plans, collectively.
- "One-time order" means a single, non-recurring purchase of the AI Resume Rewrite. Our earlier Standard and Premium written-for-you packages have been discontinued and can no longer be bought, but they remain "one-time orders" under these Terms for anyone who purchased one before they were withdrawn — Sections 4, 6, 7 and 15 continue to apply to those orders in full.
- "Subscription" means our Job Search Pro plan, billed automatically on a recurring Monthly, 3-Months (every 3 months), or Annual cycle. Our earlier Career Pro plan is no longer available to new subscribers but remains a "Subscription" for anyone who already has one.
- "You" / "User" means the individual or, for agency work, the business using the Services.
- "Agency Client" means a recruitment, staffing, or placement business purchasing custom-quoted B2B work under Section 9.
- "AI-generated content" means output produced by our AI-assisted features, as described in our AI Usage Disclaimer.
- "Deliverable" means the document(s) or output we provide you under a one-time order or subscription feature.
2. What we provide
PixelDock Apps offers three kinds of Services: (a) free tools — a Resume Builder, ATS Checker, Resume Tailoring, and Europass CV builder; (b) one-time paid orders — the automated AI Resume Rewrite; and (c) subscription plans — Free and Job Search Pro, giving ongoing access to more resume tailoring runs, resume version history, job application tracking, and reminders. Deliverables are provided as digital files.
All Services we currently sell are delivered automatically by software. We do not offer a human resume-writing service, manual editing, or revision rounds. Our Standard and Premium written-for-you packages, under which documents were prepared by a person with software assistance, have been discontinued and are no longer available for purchase. If you bought one before it was withdrawn, everything we committed to you for that order still stands — see Sections 6 and 7, and our Refund Policy.
Our subscription and free-tool features are self-serve and, for the specific features listed in our AI Usage Disclaimer, AI-assisted.
3. Eligibility and user responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
- Provide accurate, truthful information about your education, experience, and skills, and keep your account contact details and login credentials secure and up to date.
- You are responsible for the truthfulness of the final documents you use. We will not knowingly include false credentials, and we may decline requests to do so.
- For any historical Standard or Premium order still open, respond to our information requests in a reasonable time — those documents could only be prepared with your input. See Section 7 for what happens if such an order goes quiet.
- Comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which governs multiple accounts, account sharing, automated/abusive use, scraping, reverse engineering, and commercial misuse of the Services, and is part of these Terms by reference.
4. Payment terms (one-time orders)
- Standard and Premium (discontinued, historical orders only): these were one-time purchases billed in Indian Rupees (INR) at the price shown at the time of purchase, inclusive of applicable taxes. They are no longer sold; this clause is retained because it still governs orders placed before they were withdrawn.
- AI Resume Rewrite: a one-time purchase, priced in INR for customers billing from India and at a disclosed higher price (currently up to roughly $6) for customers billing from a small set of higher-income countries, detected from your connection's country.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your card, UPI, or banking details.
- Each of these is a single charge with no recurring billing — there is nothing to cancel on a one-time order. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.
5. Subscription terms: billing cycle, auto-renewal, and trial
Our Job Search Pro plan is a recurring subscription, distinct from the one-time orders above. Full plan pricing, features, and mechanics are set out in our dedicated Subscription Terms, which form part of these Terms by reference. In summary:
- Billing cycle: you choose Monthly, 3 Months (billed every 3 months), or Annual billing when you subscribe. Your plan is billed in advance for that cycle and renews on the same cycle automatically.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle, charging your authorized payment method through Razorpay, until you cancel.
- Free trial: new subscribers may start a 7-day free preview of Job Search Pro once, with no payment method required, no charge during the trial, and no automatic conversion to a paid subscription. If you take no action, your account simply reverts to the Free plan when the trial ends.
- Cancellation: you can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. See our Cancellation Policy for full detail, including what counts as trial abuse.
6. Delivery, acceptance and revisions (historical Standard/Premium orders)
This section governs the discontinued Standard and Premium written-for-you packages only. It is retained in full because customers who bought one are still entitled to everything it describes. It does not apply to the AI Resume Rewrite, which is generated and delivered automatically — see Section 6A.
- First drafts are normally delivered within the timeframe communicated to you after purchase (typically 2–4 business days from when we receive the information we request, not from payment). Timeframes are good-faith estimates, not guarantees; delays in your responses extend them accordingly.
- Delivery means dispatch: a deliverable counts as delivered when we send it to the email address (or WhatsApp number) you provided, whether or not you open it. If an email bounces, we will attempt to reach you through any other contact detail you gave us.
- Revisions: your plan includes the number of revisions shown on the pricing page. A revision covers changes to the delivered documents for the same target role. It does not cover a new document for a different career direction, which is a new order. Revision requests should be made within 14 days of delivery.
- Acceptance: if we do not hear from you within 14 days of delivery, the deliverable is considered accepted and the order complete. Unused revisions lapse at that point.
6A. Delivery of the AI Resume Rewrite
- The AI Resume Rewrite is generated automatically from the resume text you provide, normally within about 15–20 seconds of payment. No person writes, reviews, or edits it, and there are no revision rounds.
- It is delivered digitally: a download link is emailed to the address you gave at checkout, and the same document can be downloaded again from that link.
- If generation fails or is delayed, your order remains paid and valid. The document is regenerated automatically the first time you open your download link, and you can ask us to re-send the email at any time from /manage. If we cannot deliver it at all, contact us and we will refund you in full.
- The rewrite uses only the information you supply. It does not add employers, dates, qualifications, or figures you did not provide.
7. If your order goes quiet (historical Standard/Premium orders)
If, after purchase, you do not send us the information we need despite reminders, your order stays open for 60 days from payment. After 60 days of no response it is put on hold; you can reactivate it any time within 6 months of payment by simply replying to any of our emails. Orders not reactivated within 6 months lapse without refund — we reserved capacity and remained ready to perform throughout. The refund windows in our Refund Policy are unaffected: you can always request a refund within them.
8. Cancellation and refunds
Full detail on cancelling a subscription is in our Cancellation Policy. Full detail on refund eligibility — for one-time orders, the AI Resume Rewrite, and subscriptions — including our light-usage refund exception and how we handle chargebacks, is in our Refund Policy. Both are part of these Terms by reference.
9. Services for recruitment agencies (B2B)
We also provide services to recruitment, staffing and overseas-placement agencies ("Agency Clients") — such as CV formatting and standardization, candidate screening reports, white-label resume writing, and country-specific CV preparation. The following applies to that work in addition to the rest of these Terms:
- Quotes and scope: agency work is performed per a written quote (email is sufficient) stating the services, volumes, pricing and turnaround. The quote plus these Terms form the agreement; work begins after you accept the quote and pay as it specifies (advance payment unless the quote says otherwise).
- Free pilot: a pilot batch (up to 5 CVs) is free of charge, with no payment details collected and no obligation on either side. Pilot deliverables are provided for evaluation.
- Candidate data: by sending us candidate resumes or personal information, you confirm your agency is authorized to share it with us for processing. We use it only to perform the agreed work, handle it per our Privacy Policy, and delete working copies on request. Compliance with your own obligations to candidates (consent, applicable data-protection law) remains your responsibility.
- Screening is advisory: match scores, rankings and screening notes are decision-support for your recruiters, not hiring decisions. You and your clients remain solely responsible for candidate selection, verification and placement outcomes, and we accept no liability for them.
- White-label: where agreed, deliverables carry no PixelDock branding. We do not contact your candidates or your clients, and we will not solicit them.
- Acceptance and remedies: review each delivered batch and report errors within 7 days of delivery; our remedy is correction or redo of the affected documents at no charge. A batch is considered accepted after that window. The consumer Refund Policy does not apply to custom B2B work — refunds on agency orders are limited to amounts paid for work not yet performed.
- Payment defaults: if an invoice or agreed payment is overdue, we may pause work and withhold undelivered batches until the account is settled.
- What we are not: PixelDock Apps is a document-preparation and screening-support service. We are not a recruitment, placement or manpower agency; we do not source, place, or employ candidates, and we charge no fees to candidates.
10. AI-assisted and AI-generated features
Several of our tools use artificial intelligence to help draft or score your documents. Our AI Usage Disclaimer — part of these Terms by reference — lists exactly which features use AI today, which don't, and what that means for accuracy. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete; always review it before relying on it or sending it to an employer.
11. Acceptable use
Use of our tools, free or paid, is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which covers multiple accounts, account sharing, automated or abusive use, scraping, reverse engineering (including attempts to extract our AI prompts), reselling, and payment integrity, and is part of these Terms by reference. Violating it may result in suspension or termination of your account — see Section 19.
12. Intellectual property
Once payment is received, the final delivered documents are yours to use for your personal job search without restriction (for Agency Clients: for the placement work they were prepared for). The website, its design, and our templates and processes remain our property. See our Copyright Policy for how this applies to AI-generated content specifically, and for how to report a copyright concern.
13. No guarantee of outcomes
Our tools produce application documents from the information you give them, but we cannot and do not guarantee interviews, job offers, visa outcomes, acceptance by any employer's applicant tracking system, ATS scores on third-party tools, or any specific result. Hiring decisions are made by employers, not by us. You are purchasing automated career-tooling Services, not an employment outcome.
14. Disputes and chargebacks
- If anything is wrong with your order or subscription charge, contact us first at contact@pixeldockapps.com — almost every issue is resolved within a business day, and our Refund Policy is deliberately generous.
- You agree to give us the opportunity to resolve any billing issue before raising a payment dispute (chargeback) with your bank or card issuer for a matter covered by our Refund Policy. Our Refund Policy's Chargeback Handling section describes what happens to your account access during an open dispute, and the consequences of an unwarranted chargeback.
- We keep complete records of every order and subscription charge — payment confirmation, correspondence, delivery, and usage — and we contest payment disputes raised for Services that were delivered as described.
- Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under Indian consumer-protection law.
15. Right to decline or cancel an order
We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund if work has not been delivered — if we cannot serve it properly: for example, requests to fabricate credentials, abusive conduct toward our team, or work outside what the plan covers. This keeps the service honest for everyone.
16. Warranty disclaimer
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes — see our AI Usage Disclaimer. Nothing in this section limits any warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or, for a one-time order, the amount paid for that order). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost opportunities or lost income. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (internet or payment-provider outages, natural events, or similar).
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy; (b) content you submit to our tools, including any claim that it infringes a third party's rights or violates their privacy; (c) your use of any Deliverable or AI-generated content in a way that misrepresents your qualifications or experience; or (d) your fraudulent, unauthorized, or unlawful use of the Services, including payment fraud. This obligation survives termination of your account.
19. Termination
You may stop using the Services, cancel a subscription (Section 5), or request account deletion (see our Privacy Policy) at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access as described in our Acceptable Use Policy, Section 9 — briefly: suspension is a temporary hold while we investigate a suspected violation or payment dispute; termination is permanent, used for confirmed violations, repeated abuse, chargeback fraud, or non-payment. Sections 12 (Intellectual property), 16–18 (Warranty disclaimer, Limitation of liability, Indemnification), and 22 (Governing law) survive termination.
20. Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, including our use of cookies (see our Cookie Policy) and how long we keep your data (see our Data Retention Policy).
21. Jurisdiction and regional terms
These Terms, and the Services generally, are operated from and primarily governed by Indian law (Section 22). If you are accessing the Services from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with its own mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection requirements, those requirements apply to you in addition to these Terms where local law requires it — see the regional rights sections of our Privacy Policy for the specific rights we recognize for EU/EEA, UK, and Indian users today. Nothing in these Terms overrides a mandatory protection you're entitled to under your own local law.
22. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Delhi having exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have to approach consumer fora under Indian law. Before any formal proceeding, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by email for 30 days.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The Terms in force when you placed a one-time order apply to that order; the Terms in force at the start of a subscription billing period apply to that period.
