Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 28 July 2026
This policy covers cancelling a Professional or Career Pro subscription. It does not cover Standard/Premium one-time orders, which have nothing to cancel (see our Refund Policy for those), and it does not cover deleting your account entirely (see our Privacy Policy).
1. How to cancel
Sign in and go to your account page — a "Cancel subscription" option is shown for any active paid plan. You'll be asked to confirm before it takes effect.
2. What happens when you cancel
- You keep full access to your plan's features through the end of your current billing period — cancelling doesn't cut off access immediately.
- You will not be charged again after your current period ends.
- As set out in our Refund Policy, we do not refund the unused portion of a period you've already paid for, subject to the light-usage exception described there.
- After your access ends, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your data (resume versions, job applications, reminders) is not deleted — it's simply governed by Free-plan limits going forward.
3. Cancelling during your free trial
You can cancel anytime during your 7-day trial at no cost — you were never charged, so there's nothing to refund.
4. Trial abuse
The free trial is meant to give one person a genuine chance to try Professional or Career Pro before paying — it's limited to one trial per subscriber account, enforced automatically. To keep it fair for everyone, the following also count as trial abuse and may result in your trial being ended early, denied, or your account suspended:
- Creating a second (or further) account — with a different email, but the same person, payment method, device, or household — to obtain another free trial after your first one ended.
- Using a trial primarily to extract bulk AI usage rather than genuine, individual job-search use — see our Subscription Terms' Fair Usage section and our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Sharing trial or account access with someone else so they can use a trial they wouldn't otherwise be eligible for.
We reserve the right to identify likely duplicate trials using signals such as the payment method on file, device or browser information, and account-creation patterns — see "Multiple accounts" in our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Resubscribing
You can subscribe again at any time. If you've already used your one free trial, resubscribing starts a paid subscription immediately rather than a second trial.
6. Contact
If you have trouble cancelling through your account, email contact@pixeldockapps.com and we'll process it manually.
