Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information PixelDock Apps (operated by Harsh Makhija (Sole Proprietor), Delhi, India) collects, how it's used, and the choices you have — for our free tools, one-time orders, and subscription plans alike.

1. Information we collect

• Contact and identity information — name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number if you give it to us.
• Career information — your target role, country, and the resume/job-description text you paste into our tools.
• Account and subscription data — if you sign up as a subscriber: your saved resume versions, job applications you track, reminders you configure, and your plan/billing status.
• Payment confirmation — we receive confirmation that a payment succeeded from Razorpay; we never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, or banking credentials.
• Technical and usage data — server logs (via our hosting provider, Vercel), and analytics/advertising identifiers if you haven't blocked them — see our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use your information

To deliver the Service you asked for (write or generate your documents, run your subscription, track your job applications), to communicate with you about your order or account, to improve our tools, and — where you haven't opted out — to send you relevant product updates or offers.

3. Who we share it with (sub-processors)

We do not sell your personal information. Some of these providers may process data outside your own country, including in the United States — see Section 8.

4. Data retention

See our standalone Data Retention Policy for exact retention periods by data type. In summary: we keep your account data while your account is active, and for a limited period afterward for legal and accounting reasons.

5. Cookies and tracking

See our Cookie Policy for the full list. In short: we use essential cookies to keep you signed in, a first-party pd_aid cookie to anonymously count steps through our own free tools and checkout — set only if you accept — and, where the relevant tracking IDs are configured, Google Analytics/Ads and Meta Pixel to understand site traffic and measure ad performance — also loaded only if you accept. The same accept/reject choice, made via the banner shown on your first visit or the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer any time afterward, controls all of these: rejecting or not deciding means none of them load or record anything about your visit. 6. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@pixeldockapps.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, you additionally have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR to: access your data, rectify inaccurate data, erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), restrict or object to our processing, and receive your data in a portable format. The lawful bases we rely on are: performance of a contract (delivering the Service you signed up for), your consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies), and our legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement). We have not designated a separate EU representative under Article 27 GDPR; please contact us directly at the email above.

If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to access a summary of your personal data and the processing activities we carry out, the right to correction and erasure, and the right to grievance redressal. To exercise any of these rights or raise a grievance, email contact@pixeldockapps.com; we aim to resolve grievances within 30 days.

7. Account and data deletion

If you have an account, follow our public account deletion instructions or delete it directly from your account page — this cancels any active subscription immediately, and deletes your subscription record, saved resume versions, job applications, and reminders right away. You can also email contact@pixeldockapps.com with the subject "Delete my account" and we will do this for you within 30 days of a verified request. Some records — such as transaction records required for tax purposes, and anonymized email-delivery logs — are retained for longer as described in our Data Retention Policy.

8. International data transfers

Some of our service providers, including Anthropic, may process your data in the United States or other countries outside your own. Where we transfer personal data of EU/EEA or UK residents outside those regions, we rely on our providers' own compliance mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where applicable).

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data breach notification

If we become aware of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights or freedoms, we will notify affected users and, where legally required, the relevant regulator, without undue delay.

11. Children

Our services are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

12. Marketing emails

If you join our waitlist, sign up for a trial, or otherwise give us your email, you may receive occasional product updates or offers in addition to transactional emails about your order or account. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also ask us directly to stop.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; we'll update the "last updated" date when we do.
